Rent To Buy, How Does It Work?

With the cost of living rising dramatically. It can be hard to afford those big-ticket items you need such as a fridge, washing machine, new lounge etc. There are many payment options that help you spread the cost over 4 payments. But what if you need longer? That is where rent to buy comes in.

What is the process?

At RentBuy Appliances, we have made the process really simple:

Step One:

Choose the products you wish to apply for by adding them to your cart.

Step Two:

Continue through the checkout process and fill out your application form.

Step Three:

We will process your application on the same day we receive it, or if it is received after 3 pm or on weekends we will process it the following business day.

Step Four:

Our team will discuss with you the most affordable payment plan. Your preferred method of repayment (credit card, direct debit, or Centrepay). We will also organise all the paperwork and your products.

Step Five:

Delivery! Michael will deliver your products directly to your door along with your agreement to sign.

Step Six:

Make your payments according to your agreement. When the agreement is over you get to keep them for as little as $1!

Are The Products New?

All of our rental products are brand new. They are also covered under warranty for the entire length of the rent to buy agreement. Even longer if the manufacturer’s warranty extends beyond your agreement period. There is also an option to purchase an extended warranty. This covers your items beyond the agreement/manufacturer’s warranty.

So Do I Really Own It At The End?

Yes, you can! 60 days before the end of the agreement, our team will contact you to arrange the completion of your agreement. The law enables the negotiation for the transfer of ownership of rented/leased goods and we will work with you if you wish to retain the goods. In most cases, we will offer you the purchase/transfer of your leased goods at the end of your agreement for as little as $1. The product is then yours to keep, so you go from renting to owning!
